On Mission in Gainesville

We are committed to the people God has placed in our backyard. We are on mission in North Central Gainesville in North Central Florida. We reach out to our community with one-on-one visitation, children's programs like Awana and Upward Sports, English tutoring with international students, youth and college events, concerts, musicals and more... anything we can do to gain the privilege of sharing the love and the hope of Christ with our neighbors. We train our members in evangelism using the FAITH Evangelism Strategy. This program uses classes and mentoring to teach people to share the Gospel in a confident, effective manner.

On Mission in the United States

We are blessed to live in a nation like America. But even in a land of such prosperity, there are millions who need the eternal love of Christ and the immediate, hands-on love of his church. We send our people wherever they are needed, whether it's to New Orleans with a trailer full of chainsaws, to Miami to plant a church or to NYC to help with the Mosaic Mission.

On Mission Around the World

North Central has a long history of sending its people out to the far corners of the globe. We have sent long-term missionaries to serve in places such as South Korea, the Philippines, Ethiopia, Brazil, Peru, Nigeria and more. We also strive to involve our members in short-term ministry to foreign countries. Following is a list of some of our more recent trips:
